Tingting Lyu is a director, and producer from Chengdu, China, specializing in fantasy, sci-fi, surrealism, romance, and comedy.

With eight years of experience in the film industry, Tingting has directed vertical mini-series sci-fi rom-com ‘’Teaching My Robot Boyfriend How To Love’’, another feature-length romance choosing-your-own-adventure interactive narrative game ‘Love Choice’, and produced 3 drama feature series released on GoodShorts, Dramabox, Alta TV. Her works span across narrative films, games, documentaries, and experimental shorts.

As the lead producer on "EUROPA," an advanced sci-fi project in collaboration with Sony and PIXOMONDO under USC’s Entertainment Technology Center. She also participated as a panelist at the Virtual Everything Summit at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, discussing content about virtual production.

Her notable achievements include producing "Check Mates," which won Best Student Film at the 2022 Cannes World Film Festival, and directing "Victor's Secret," which received awards for Best Comedy Short, Best Student Female Director, and Best Acting Duo at the 2022 Los Angeles International Independent Short Film Awards. Her directed short film "A Perfect Slice" also reached the semi-finals at the 2023 Paris International Short Film Festival, Dublin World Film Festival, and Austin International Art Festival.

She serves as the lead writer for the critically acclaimed MFA advanced detective game project "Eye 4 Eye" on Steam, which has received a rating of 9/10.

Her passion for filmmaking extends beyond traditional formats, by exploring the realms of game media, virtual production, and A.I. filmmaking. She believes that embracing new technologies and platforms will enable us to push the boundaries of storytelling and create even more immersive and emotionally resonant experiences for audiences.
